A fantastic career development opportunity for an experienced National Account Manager or alternatively a NAE or Junior NAM with FMCG food experience and now looking for their next progression with a growing and forward thinking organisation. Our client is an autonomous and well-established company and part of a £multi-million, highly successful, UK Food Group. The business is a leading supplier of quality bakery products to Grocery Multiple and Convenience Retail channels , operating in growth categories in both brand and own label. With a solid reputation for innovation, NPD and continued investment in manufacturing facilities, the business prides itself on delivering a flexible, efficient customer service second to none. With a clear vision and strategy for growth they are now looking for an additional, talented NAM/Commercial Manager to join the team in Salisbury, Wiltshire. This is an exciting role with a broad remit. THE ROLE -) Reporting to the Commercial Director and working cross-functionally, you will be responsible for managing and driving all aspects of the commercial agenda within the account including developing and implementing joint customer business plans, pricing and terms negotiation and managing an active NPD programme. -) In addition, will have responsibility for managing one of the company’s key brands across the whole business which will involve all elements of brand development including project managing the NPD process, packaging, advertising and trade support. THE REQUIREMENTS -) Of graduate calibre, you will need to demonstrate previous FMCG account management experience gained in managing a top grocery multiple or second-tier retail account. -) Previous exposure to own-label and short shelf-life products would also be an advantage. -) You will be familiar with working with retailers in a strategic category driven relationship and importantly you will the personality, drive and people skills to work effectively in a hands-on, cross-functional team environment. Salary is very competitive plus bonus, car allowance and benefits.
